Hamstring Muscle Group

Well, fuck. Like alot of people, I cant afford to go to an actual specialist, or even a doctor to get it checked out. By it, I mean the (self diagnosed) stage 2 tear I had in my hamstring. Its been 2 months, and I’m feeling tremendously better!

Unfortunately, my football coaches don’t believe in better, they believe in best. And so do I, which is why I’m getting as much information as I can. If any of you have ever had a torn muscle, especially a hamstring, I need to know some specifics. How long it took to heal, and what levels of improvement. From when you could walk again to when you could sprint again. I’ve been stretching (correctly), doing some light massage and have continued some cardio and running. I just cant sprint. I mean, I could, but I know that I would still re-injure myself.

Basically, I need to know how to minimize scar tissue, improve healing, how to gauge my progress and when I’ll be back at full speed.
